BAS KOSTERS: LOVE, FUCK YEAH.

Some designers at Amsterdam Fashion Week know how to make an entrance, a show and after that a party, and the after-party. Bas Kosters has been the ‘enfant terrible’ of Dutch fashion since many years and you know you’re getting quite the show beforehand. He first gave a very open interview about his love life before the show started, since that’s what the collection is about: LOVE, FUCK, YEAH. To find love, and lose it is all being part of living your life. I think I loved the fact he was so open about it and I saw a lot of people nodding in agreement. He showed some familiar things we’re used from him (remember his pretty famous ‘dick’ legging) but also new prints, fabrics and silhouettes. I wouldn’t say his collection is commercial, but definitely wearable. When you buy a ‘Kostertje’ (an item of Bas Kosters) you definitely buy a statement piece #loveit. My favorite piece?
