First five pictures: Roya Hesam. Last four pictures Rebecca Ward.
First of all, I’m not showing the collections in chronological order, I just pick the shows that stick to my mind and which I think were inspiring, fun or different. I didn’t know what to expect from both Roya Hesam or Rebecca Ward, since I’ve never attended their shows before. Roya Hesam showed a very wearable, feminine collection with some touch of punk here and there. The clothes look fluent since she uses a lot of draped items in light fabrics, perfect for (late) summer. Rebecca Ward was a completely different story, she uses hard shapes that look also fluent, but in a more sculptural way. Her designs take more extreme forms, although I would love to wear the blazer on the second picture from above. Beautiful use of leather also. More shows will be posted soon!
