.’Love is the new black.’ Editorial from Dutch Vogue September, photographed by Paul Bellaart, styled by Marije Goekoop.
One of the many editorials that caught my eye was this one by the
Dutch Vogue of September. The shoot is styled by Marije Goekoop and photographed by Paul Bellaart. Absolutely one of the best editorials I’ve seen in the Dutch Vogue so far. I adore the modern punk elements mixed with grunge, romanticism and touches of goth. Somehow this shoot reminded me of the one Steven Meisel did back in december 1992 for the American Vogue called “ Grunge and Glory“. My favorite items of this shoot? I think the nose ring in the last spread from Chanel is over the top, but looks beautiful in the picture. Also the black coat in that same spread she’s wearing is phenomenal, made by Prada. The fishnet sweater that looks like a mask by Alexander Wang on the left and the leather legging with studs on the right from Phillipp Plein, one of my favourite designers, are must-haves for this winter. These items are always easy to combine with more sophisticated clothing. Since most of us don’t have billion dollar bank account I’ll show you some fall items I found that match this ‘trend’ for upcoming fall season. For now enjoy the beautiful shots! Happy weekend.
