CRISPY CORNFLAKES

June 28,  |  by  |  Outfit  |  10 Comments

.Zara. Blazer and top. / .H&M. Mens shorts (customized). / .Koi Couture. Wedges. / .New Look. Necklace.

Crispy cornflakes. That’s how the sequins of my top look like. At least, it looks yummy and eatable? What am I saying, I just love this top. This look is kind of an idea to wear to my graduation ceremony, which is tomorrow already! Since the weather will be much colder then I’m thinking of combining it with just a jeans instead of the shorts. Kind of nervous for it, since I’m closing 4 years of school (finally!) and I can call myself a fashion designer (wow weird). Yes, I did do the sewing, technical drawings, sketches, silk screening, creating concepts, style books, mastering Adobe Creative Suite and even Adobe Premiere Pro, how’s that? So trust me, I don’t do this just for fun, it’s with a purpose ;) Follow me and say hi on twitter (@thestylevisitor) or on Facebook since I post there much more often about new items, looks or inspiration I found. Happy Thursday!

URBAN MATTERS

June 27,  |  by  |  set  |  1 Comment
.Acne. Black leather pilot boots. £380 / .Twenty8twelve. White shirt. € 65,53 / .Trust me. Studded denim shorts W27. $50 / .outblush.com. Milan metro cuff. $37 /  .Henry Holland. Monobrow sunglasses. $89 /  .Modekungen.se. Leather jacket. €124,30 /  .Journelle. Strapless bra. $116 / .Marc Jacobs. White Icon Stripe watch. €260 / .Alexis Bittar. Liquid Gunmetal Lava ring. $122,50 /  .Blue Nile. Mini dog tag pendant. $64

I created this look for a very urban down to earth no messing around working girl. It contains classic must-haves like the Acne boot, the denim short, the white shirt and the leather jacket, and you can pimp it however you like. It’s practical also, I love the metal cuff with the milan metro system on it (wish they had one of Amsterdam!). Also the white watch from Marc Jacobs can be worn with almost any outfit (important!). I have my graduation ceremonie in about 2 days, and I’m seriously plucking my hair almost since I really DONT KNOW what to wear. Dress? Shorts? Heels? Boots? I guess it’s official so I should wear a dress, but somehow I don’t like to be so uberly formal. What would you suggest? Have a lovely day!

CLASSIC TALE

June 25,  |  by  |  Outfit  |  6 Comments
.H&M. Lace shorts. / .Zara. Blouse, cardigan and naked heels.

So what’s the story behind this cardigan? It’s actually worn back to front here. Since it has buttons on the back I decided to twist it and combine it with a comfortable blouse, shorts and heels, a favorite classic I’ve been wearing a lot lately. The weather forecast here will be a lot sunnier, so I hope to add some more colour to my wardrobe soon! Can’t believe we’re having so much rain and low temperatures. How was your weekend? Mine was filled with work but also some good times. This Friday I’ll have my graduation ceremony and TRUST ME I’m going to give you guys a splendid look of course ;) Happy Monday and say hi on twitter (@thestylevisitor) or on FB.

PINK PASSION

June 24,  |  by  |  Outfit  |  4 Comments
.Acne. Pink sweater. / .Zara. Black harem pants. / .Koi Couture. Nude heels. / .H&M. Black bag.

Wow. How hard it is to find some good light when it’s such a cloudy day like this one I found out just now. So excusez-moi for using flash, but else you wouldn’t even been able to see the clothes up close. Love the contrast between the soft pink tones and black. Just another chill Sunday outfit which you can wear to many different occasions, you can pimp it up with more accessories of course than I did. I don’t like too much schmuck, but I love this lipstick shade I recently bought. It’s kind of like the colour used in the inspiration board in the previous post. How are you spending your Sunday? I have to work this evening at another concert so hopefully it will be fun! Let me know and say hi on twitter (@thestylevisitor).

SUMMER INSPIRATION

.None of these pictures are mine and belong to their respectful owners. For inspirational use only.

Anyone who’s following me on twitter could already notice I’m expanding my summer inspiration board on Pinterest almost every day. So if you’re looking to be inspired every day and you like what you see above, don’t hesitate to follow me there, the pin board is way larger than this one above. I love soft toned colours, in combination with pieces that have a raw edge to it. ADORE the leather jacket on the right bottom corner (of course), do you? So many things to crave, I don’t even know where to start? Have a lovely weekend!

YELLOW DAISY

June 22,  |  by  |  Outfit  |  1 Comment
.Zara. Cute yellow dress. / .River Island. Belt. / .H&M. Camel coat. / .The Darling. Heels.

Yeey I’m featured on Lady Lux! Read the short interview here to get to know a little bit about me. Above: super quick outfit, completely aware of that. Something you’d wear during a rainy spring evening topping it off with an umbrella I guess. But the rain here isn’t really giving me much else inspiration lately. I love this yellow soft looking Zara dress though, now also available in a coral colour and the soft tanned heels which are against a very price . The jacket is an upgraded version of the classic trench coat as we all know it from Burberry. I like the fact it has short sleeves, especially in summer it’s way more comfortable. What are you planning on doing this weekend? Follow me on instagram or say hi on twitter (@thestylevisitor) to see where I’m hanging out. TGIF!

BLUE SHORTS

June 21,  |  by  |  Outfit  |  4 Comments
.Zara. Silk shortswhite coat and wedges. / .H&M. Golden bracelet and white blouse.

I love these silk blue shorts! Do you? Ever since I bought them I wasn’t quite sure how to combine them, but summer definitely gave me enough inspiration to create a casual look of it. Since the print is fairly busy I paired it up with a simple white blouse and coat, and brown accessories and wedges. Somehow reminds me of a boat trip? What’s your plan for summer? I’m still hoping on going on holiday, since summer here doesn’t consist of much sun, bummer! Any tips are welcome. Make sure you say hi on twitter or instagram (@thestylevisitor) or check out my facebook for more style advise and updates!

IT’S A TOMBOY KIND OF THING

June 20,  |  by  |  Outfit  |  2 Comments
.Just Female. High waisted jeans and Tomboy Top. / .Zara. Black heels and leather jacket. / .H&M. Spiked earrings.

It’s really hard to find basic pieces that fit you, but this is seriously one kind of a jeans that everyone will fit. It’s really high waisted, comfortable, stretchy and long-legged. I don’t have amazingly long legs so I crop it up at the bottom as you can see. Besides that it’s black, so you can wear it during autumn and winter, but also just during the evening or at work. I paired it with this super cute Tom Boy t-shirt, which are both available online so just click the link. I found these amazingly good priced (only 40 E) simple Zara heels with it, which also fit with a lot of other stuff in my wardrobe (dresses, jeans, shorts, leggings etc.). It’s a very simple work outfit, but those are the ones you can use every day right? Don’t forget to say hi on twitter (@thestylevisitor) or show me some random love on Facebook since I have way more updates there than here on my blog. Hope you’re having a great day!
